Some time ago, when Massimo Wheat Germ bread was launched, I tried it out only once. It was a big let-down. And I have never eaten a slice of this bread from The Italian Baker. Most folks like it because it is cheaper than Gardenia bread and its sweet taste.
Recently, I tried out its newly launched Massimo 100% Whole Wheat Loaf. This time I am impressed by its quality.
It is neither too salty nor sweet. Massimo 100% Whole Wheat Loaf is similar to those healthy bread by Good WholeWheat. The surface is kind of rough and full of loose crumbs.
Massimo Whole Wheat Loaf is said to be suitable for vegans. It does not contain any animal by-products and additives. Furthermore, it has no trans fat, sugar and cholesterol.
This newly-launched one hundred per cent whole wheat loaf is priced at RM3.50. But at certain shops, you can get it for only RM3.00 or RM3.30 each.
But for those living around the Klang Valley areas, if you truly love to eat really healthy and quality bread, then you should check out Craft Bakers Solaris Dutamas or White Bread Oven Bakery.
