Four boys arrested in the New Year's Day sexual assault on and year-old girls in a neighborhood west of Boca Raton have been charged as adults, according to the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office. Blake Carter, 14; Alex Perriello, 16; Eddie Otaegui, 17; and Ryan Lafferty, 14, each face a charge of sexual battery on a physically incapacitated person, according to state records and state attorney spokesman Michael Edmondson. The first-degree adult offense is punishable upon conviction by up to 30 years in prison, according to an attorney for one of the boys. The four, along with an year-old and another boy who was 13 at the time, are accused of getting the two girls drunk on Smirnoff vodka and Sprite and assaulting them, investigators said. A homeowner called deputies after hearing moans coming from the canal in the block of Old Bridgeport Lane, the arrest report said.

Michael Venditto, a Boca Raton cheerleading coach, was arrested Wednesday on charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual activity involving two teenage girls, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Venditto, 27, is charged with unlawful sexual activity with one of his year-old cheerleaders, and also allegedly committed lewd or lascivious battery on another teen. According to the arrest report, the first alleged incident happened after practice in Lake Park when Venditto was coaching cheerleading for the Palm Beach Lightning all-star travel team. The cheerleader, who is now 18, told investigators that Venditto gave her a ride to and from practice in March of in his Jeep. On the way home from practice, Vendildo stopped at a local KFC parking lot, because he's classy.
